Class EXPECTATIONS
The Drawing and Paining Course is designed to familiarize the students with a wide range of materials while improving their understanding of the elements of design. The students volition exist working on their ability to create artwork that depicts the world around them visually. The course will teach the students to apply both realistic and interpretive images. This course is also designed to help the students develop a portfolio for higher applications.

GRADING (90 %)
Students volition exist expected to complete four to five projects a marking period. I await students to be open to trying new things and put the effort forward to be successful. Students will be graded on their attempt and improvement from ane project to the next. The classroom projects make up eighty per centum of the students form. A listing of assignments will be provided to the students also every bit existence posted in the classroom.
CRITIQUES (10%)
Students will exist expected to write a total of four critiques during this form. During the first critique I will model what to write in an effective critique and the students volition write along with me. Selection any collection of objects and arrange them so that they overlap. Describe in pencil a sketch of the all the same life on the paper. Using colored pencils no advertizement the color to the objects. Think that the colors get darker as they become shadows and every bit the get shut.

Skylines (Watercolor)
